Until the Rollins incident I had never said an unkind word about Bachmann. Even though I thought she'd be a poor presidential candidate (I still think that for multiple reasons) I respected her as a congresscritter, her votes were good, and she spoke well for conservatism.

I had decided the rumors months earlier about her aides spreading smears and nasty comments about Palin were unfounded, but I am now seeing those come up in more and more places, including more recent ones such as this.

I know enough about the good perfessor's bonafides to tell you he would not have printed this if he had not looked hard and seen this was true. He's got a sound critical mind and simply does not print things that he makes up, or hopes are true.

I have no problem with anyone but Bachmann, but have to include Romney along with her. My reasons are multiple, not just the nasty tone that is coming from her campaign workers. And yes, I now believe she is complicit with this stuff.

I can respect that reasoning, and if the assertions are true then I would agree with YOUR conclusion because you have included Romney as a reject.

My problem is this: Show the source. Prove the facts asserted.

Please note that I am not saying he is wrong or the assertions untrue, but an accusation of a consistent pattern of malicious behavior needs to be proven or withdrawn.
