However, a convert has it's merits. Many Liberals around the US are rethinking their positions on guns. How many? Don't know. Two of my Liberal friends have asked me for my opinions on guns. What is the best self defense weapon, etc. Gives me an opportunity to try to convince them that registration is a bad idea, too.
A lot of people are scared. And when people are scared, the idealistic, ivory tower, BS is one of the first things to go.
