It wasn't just an implication -- the raid did violate Pakistan's sovereignty. Meanwhile, Pakistan was harbouring a war criminal, wanted by the U.S. Under normal circumstances, the combination would usually mean WAR. Clearly, Pakistan is isn't about to declare open war on the U.S.A. Instead, they're doing whatever they can get away with, in retaliation -- including giving the Chinese a peek at the helicopter. Factions of the Pak government are also likely continuing to support the Taliban -- while other factions continue to make a show of helping fight the Taliban.
