"So if the have a state they are no longer have refugee status and no longer get UN refugee money."

Somehow I doubt that will happen until the last Jew is expunged from the Middle East, and probably not even then.

good article. thanks for posting it!

few people outside of FR, have any idea of what is going to happen next month.
succeed or fail, there will almost certainly be a regional war.
if it fails, Hezbollah will launch the 40,000 or so rockets it has stockpiled.
if it succeeeds, Israel is indefensible, and will be steamrollered, as soon as the US is out of Iraq:

When Congress returns, the House will pass a bill calling for an IMMEDIATE end to ALL US funding of the UN if this passes in the General Assembly. The Senate will choke on the bill..but it will pass..or it will kill the Dems in the election..

i pray that you are correct. (you usually are!)
the USA needs to be on the right side of this.
but either way, it’s going to be grim.
(if only the Balfour declaration hadn’t been torn up...)
and now that Obama looks vulnerable in 2012, the Muslims have much more incentive to act now.

I'll try to find the links for you...but several GOP congressmen have publicly said they will introduce the bill to cut off UN funding. It will pass the House easily, and probably the Senate as well..

I agree with you that Obama's falling popularity makes it more likely that Iran might try something while he's still in office..

Caroline Glick in the Jerusalwm Post writes brilliantly on this..follow her..
