Yes more than just $$$$$

There is having heat in your home, fuel for your vehicle, electricity for cooking and lighting, having a job...

Hydraulic Fracturing has been helping provide all of those for over six decades without breaking through the oil/gas reservoir into an aquifer in many other states.

I am curious, how many decades of other states demonstrating its safe use will it take to convince you?

By 1988, this process had been used in the United States over one million times. Now approximately 35,000 wells per year have this treatment done without penetrating into an aquifer.

Honestly, what would it take to convince you? Or will you let NIMBYs and environmentalist continue to manipulate you on unfounded fears?

I personally know geologists who say this CAN and DOES damage the environment!

Listen, we have NOTHING here in central NY, BUT the beautiful, clean environment!

But hey, we are all entitled to our own opinions.
It may go through and if it does, I hope it is regulated very carefully.

Take care!

Even geologists can have opinions.

But decades of testing, lawsuits, regulations, etc have all come back with the same results. Hydraulic Fracturing does not penetrate to the drinking water aquifers.

Where most of the problems have occurred have been the surface handling of the fracking liquids. The disposal, containment and hauling is regulated and should be. Cheap contractors that cut corners or violate the rules should be fully prosecuted, just like any other polluter.

And did you ever ask them why they think so?
I personally know quite a few who say otherwise...and they can explain why.

I notice that you crawl out from under your rock only a couple times a year
and then you run back up under it again.
Maybe you should just stay there.
