This is an incredibly stupid thing to say, if she really did say this.

How can someone actually say this? Shouldn’t they be saying that on their first day in office, drilling will commence in the Gulf and ANWAR?

Will this be during the first 3 months of growth that she’s guaranteed. I liked Bachmann, but her gaffes are mounting quickly; it’s all becoming Elvis’ birthday.

“This is an incredibly stupid thing to say...”

####

Yes, based on the political power that is sadly in the hands of the firmly entrenched Communist Party, and the similarly ensconced anti-progress EcoFascists.

But based on just our KNOWN domestic reserves, that is a reasonable price target.

Certainly possible. All it would take would be to throw off all of the crippling federal regulations that have prevented US from making use of the vast reserves of energy related natural resources for several decades. Communists under their “Green” flag have basically shut down energy production in this country under “environmental concerns” since the 1970s. All on purpose, no mistakes made.

Tear that crap away and let us drill/mine our vast resources and gasoline is easily under $2.00 in no time. Heck, you don't even have to throw off fiat currency to get to that point!

This is an incredibly stupid thing to say, if she really did say this.

Not really. If she could show a 50 cent drop in a single term, most conservatives would consider it good enough for a second term. If we open the spigots and flood the global markets, $2 would probably be doable. All it takes is political will.

I am sorry but Bachmann does not stand a chance in a million years of becoming President. With all due respect to her, could she please stop saying things that are simply not true.

I am sick of people pouncing on Bachmann. If she is able to implement policies by which our domestic oil industry is allowed to drill and build refineries, there is no reason gas wouldn’t go below $2.00 a gallon. Prices went below $2.00 a gallon when Bush allowed more drilling after the prices went up to $4.00. Are you falling for the mainstream media line that she is an idiot because she is a conservative woman? At this juncture, she is the only one coming across as a truly conservative candidate.

This isn’t good, it plays right into the MSM hands of “crazy lady.” How many times do you think we’ll see that comment on TV in the next 24 hours? This is the type of stuff that really sticks with voters and is reinforced when they hear the talking heads explain that she’s really out there. Too bad she had such a good week.

This is an incredibly stupid thing to say,

Why? The king could do it now if he would just allow drilling. Allowing drilling would drop prices immediately. Remember when Bush just threatened to do it prices dropped in just a couple of days. I have no doubt osama obama will do it sometime around June.

Hmmm. Sounds like someone needs an energy adviser. Maybe Sarah could...oh, wait...Ed Rollins happened. Sorry Michele.

First let me say that I'm no Bachmann fan. Not because of her or her policies, but her gaffes tell me that she is really bad at hiring advisors to keep her from making them and that worries me.

However. Turn the pumps back on in Texas, de-fund the EPA and prevent law suits and that will allow us to build new refineries and gas will be back to the 1990 rate of $.99 a gallon.
