It had an extremely disgusting subject for a movie back in 1969, but the the theme song made it to the top of the charts.

I think Myra Breckenridge was probably a lot more disgusting movie. Midnight Cowboy was pretty mild, as well as funny in a lot of spots. I think it's current rating is PG13, if that. And look at Jon Voight. He was the main character in Midnight Cowboy and there's almost no one in Hollywood who is as far right as he is.

I never did watch Midnight Cowboy, other than catching the very end on TV some years ago when Jon Voight leaves Dustin on the bus for someone else to deal. I remember the Clergy in my hometown picketing in front of the Delft Theater when it came out. I think they changed the rating to M after a few days.

I realize there have been a couple of other articles about this lately. But the issue is so vile, so destructive, and many people do not realize that these fiends actually do want to normalize pedophilia - that I'm pinging another one. The photo of the little girl tarted up as a sex object says it all. Notice this:

Anyone who molests children should be at the very least locked up for life but IMO it's better to just execute them. The push to normalize pedophilia signals the end of civilization as we know it.

Homosexuals argue that they were born with it so that makes it OK. You can use that argument to defend any vile behavior. What person says when I grow up “I want to be a serial killer or a rapist”. They can say that they had no control because it was in their genes and who can argue with it if society says that it is true about homosexuality. We sure are sliding a long way down an immoral, dangerous and ugly slippery slope.
