The Obama Administration today announced a virtual amnesty-by-decree for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, whose deportations will be “indefinitely delayed”. In addition, Obama finally announced a jobs program – but for ILLEGAL ALIENS, not citizens – as those 300,000 illegals will also become eligible for “work permits“.
This action represents an administrative end-run around Congress, which twice rejected the ‘DREAM Act’ in 2010. As disgraceful as is this usurpation of Congressional authority, this announcement is even worse than is being reported.

Naw....best to not underestimate the women behind him....the more I hear Michelle's video's running up to the election, and the few they "allowed" her to do once he was in office...the more I'm convinced this is as much if not more Michelle's agenda...that along with her buddy Valerie J.

Today's immigration amnesty move is brilliant. What can we do to allow them to vote now?
I think we're just a few more chess moves away from guaranteeing Democratic majorities forever.
Momentum is building towards taxing the hell out of rich people and at some point we'll be able to create a voting majority that pays very little in taxes at all.
That will be the ultimate check mate, and I think we're only a couple of elections away from that being a reality.

Apologies if someone has already covered this point, but I think Obama’s announcement is both (a) an attempt to solidify his base among Latinos and (b) to force Rick Perry to make a very difficult decision. Obama knows that Perry has the typical Texas concern about offending Latinos, but that the Republicans (particularly Tea Party Republicans) care deeply about protecting the borders. We’ve seen Perry’s internal conflict when he was confronted with the Arizona illegal immigration law. If Perry doesn’t come out strongly against the Obama directive, it could give Bachmann a huge wedge issue to distinguish herself from Perry. Obama would love to have the Republican candidates go after each other on this issue.
