Wonder why Beck was kicked off Fox? Not the BULLSHIT stories floated around...the real reason?
He wasn’t kicked off FOX. He left on his own which left FOX scrambling to fill the spot. I think they called his bluff and he wasn’t. In fact when he started the show he made it clear that he wasn’t going to do it for long.
I am kinda curious about what kind of ratings “The 5” is getting.
Seriously? You think he was kicked off Fox?
When was the last time that someone was fired allowed to continue their show for months up to and including the LIVE final episode.
Yea it doesn't happen.
What’s wrong with the stated reason for him leaving that you look for another?
He left, he wasn’t kicked off. I would say his choice to leave was well timed and he probably was being restricted as to what he could say and do.
What makes you think it was BS?
“Beck kicked off Fox”
I think the separation has to do with business. Beck has big plans for his own company — it may become a competitor of Fox.
“Beck was kicked off Fox”
He wasn’t. He said late last year that he didn’t know where he would be by the end of this year. He said a couple of times on air, once on BOR, that there were things he couldn’t say on air on Fox. Fox had, as did he, somewhere around FIVE administration ‘officials’ come to each executive office and, essentially, threaten them. Each. There was at least one incident against his FAMILY over a year ago.
Fox was not his primary income. I think he has moved to the heart of the matter: Western civilization, more specifically, the prophetic Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We are, after all, fighting the ancient evil once again, even if some of us don’t want to believe or face that.
“Wonder why Beck was kicked off Fox?”
As far as anyone knows, he wasn’t fired. As he pointed out a few times before his last show, he began talking about not staying another year many, many months before, because there was something more important he felt like he was meant to do.
PS - do you know for sure that he was fired? If so, please direct me to the source. If that were the case, only reason I could possibly think of is that Van Jones was successful with his hit-job campaign and threatened boycott of GB’s advertisers. I had read in several places that although his ratings were still great, a fairly significant number of his sponsors had bailed for the reason above, and networks live by ad dollars as much as ratings. Usually, the two go hand in hand, but Van Jones had sworn revenge and he knew how to make it hurt. He’s really vile, but then, so are most of BHO’s buddies.
