Seems to me that the Chinese were playing awfully dirty, and instigated the entire fight.

And by the way, considering how wacked out many kids in that demographic feel about my country any patriotic loyalty on my part towards them would need to be earned.
Who is that aggro coach screaming profanities at the officials? Definitely not Chinese.
If this chinese team has a record like that, then we need to ask who was the dumbass that agreed for Gtown to play them. Biden??
Some incidents arise that can justly be blamed on American (usually black) thugs, but this isn’t one of them. It appears to me that nearly all the blame belongs on the Chinese side — on the Chinese military professional players and Chinese spectators, some of whom got involved in the fight, and others threw objects at the Americans. Security too was to blame.
[Notice that in the second photo (post 25) the person in the white shirt that’s kicking an American player who is on the floor and relatively helpless isn’t even wearing a uniform.]
The Chinese seem to be to blame for the brawl against Brazil too. The big Chinese rebounder who gets stripped of the ball (cleanly) at about the one minute mark is definitely to blame for that part of the incident. They appear to be most responsible for the rest too, but the video has been edited, so we can’t know whether something that would make the other side look bad too has been left out.

I wonder if you and a few others here would be so quick to dump on the US team if there were a few more whites.
I don’t even watch basketball but I was aware of the China vs Brazil fight shown in post 23. The China thug-style of basketball isn’t a new story.
Unfortunately I have to agree. I also think the comments would be a tad different.

And I can give you a list of mile long of the reasons why.
I’m the one who posted the video of the China/Brazil fight, so I’m certainly not one who is dumping on the US team.
I would have thought I was clear when I quoted the other fellow’s racist slur on our American team.
You on the other hand were pinged because I referenced your proof of the Chinese dirty tactics.
