Flash mobs and attacks like this seem to happen a lot in states/cities with strict gun control. You just don’t see much of this down South with carry laws. I guess some people know that other people will just go ahead and shoot them for acting like this. It might be time to take some people out of the gene pool before they reproduce.

“Just girls having fun” is the reporter’s assessment - not that she approved, she explained it as a vicious assault.
And yes, it was black on white, as were the other assaults mentioned by the reporter...but not racially motivated. Right!
Honestly, carrying wouldn’t have helped much in this case. She was attacked from behind by running girls and thrown to the pavement. It would have been very hard to get a gun out in those circumstances - until they were leaving.

Who do whites have to turn to when we are being beaten in the streets? The democrats would be all over it screaming racism. There are not hate crimes for whites, well there is when it’s a white harming a black. Blacks have had their way to long and now whitey sooner or later is going to start fighting back. Never bite the hand that feeds you.
If I saw someone beating on an innocent person, I would put myself into that situation in a way that none if the sickos would forget.

I am amazed at how much Free Republic has changed since I have been observing it. 5 years back half of those in here would have been calling most everyone in this thread a racist, but we are waking up. We are seeing real racism, and it isn’t coming from Whites.
Why is a British newspaper reporting all these attacks and our US media ignores it? Oh wait....never mind.
This is terrorism, folks. But that’s not to say the communities the perps belong support the violence.
When Rizzo was Mayor, Philadelphia was safe, and clean. Businesses flourished and people walked the streets at night without any fears. People began moving back into Philly because it was a great place to live and work. Rizzo was a good mayor.
There were segments of the city that called him racist, but he was not. He was simply determined to make Philly a good, safe place to live and work. And he did just that- and quickly after he took office.
Rizzo came up as a cop from the “old school.” And when these segments acted up and became violent, under his administration, they got a billy club where it hurt the most, and a ride to the slammer in a paddy wagon.
And, soon enough, the crime rate fell, and dramatically.
Mayor Nutter is a very nice guy. Everyone likes him. But he has done precious little to make Philly safe. It did not have to get to this point. Our business taxes are among the highest in the nation, yet, we do not have enough police. And Nutter has been too reluctant to get tough. Hearing him go off in those videos across the web is making everyone roll their eyes. It is meaningless.
Suffice it to say the prevailing opinion was that the boy deserved it, or more accurately it was his parents fault because of what was stolen.
