Ron Paul Supporter Takes Out Full-Page Ad In Texas Paper A full-page newspaper ad by a supporter of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is raising eyebrows, asking, "Have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?"

Robert Morrow placed the ad in the Austin Chronicle alt-newsweekly less than one week after the Texas governor threw his hat in the ring for the presidency, Salon.com reported.

I posted on some threads days ago that I was told that someone was in Austin trying to dig up sex related dirt on Perry. Specifically about the gay thing. I got a lot of heat for that. Some Freepers were saying that I was posting such things because I was gay. They were being real jerks to me while not paying attention to the message which they assumed was being fabricated.

I posted it because I had it from someone in the know that this kind of stuff was going on. So I was expecting something like this “Had Sex With Rick Perry” thing.

Perry has to deal with the sex questions. He knows that and so do his people close to him. They need to get these questions put to bed:)

Robert Morrow defended Warren Jeffs. This proves he’s crazy.

Well one thing for sure..YOU WERE RIGHT! Perry is a shrewd poloyician. He didn’t get to be Tx Gov three times by being careles. The Dums would have used such a scadal a long time ago. Perry wouldn’t even run if that skeleton was rattling in his closet. After the month the dum have had, it would be like the pot calling the kettle black.

Hedgecock gave this lunatic a national forum?

I’m surprised Roger gave him a forum to spew unsubstantiated filth.

Ron Paul has turned into Larry Flynt.

ROFLMAO! I guess if someone supports Rick Perry and runs an ad that Michele Bachman is a felon, that makes Rick Perry responsible? Is that the best you can do to malign Paul? Guilt by association?

But no Perry supporter did. Nor did any other candidate put someone up to do something like this. It took a paulbot to do this. I doubt it if cut and run will ever condemn it either.

It’s just sex. Weren’t we lectured throughout the ‘90’s that sex has NOTHING to do with how good a president you are? Now it does? Jumpin’ Johosaphat!

At the same time the Clinton's were employing private detectives to look for dirt on their enemies and all Republicans were their enemies. Larry Flynt offered a million dollars to anyone who could supply dirt on the impeachment panel.

If Hillary runs against Obama rest assured that she would be as bad or worse.

Did you notice SALON.com ran this story too. Figures.

I would expect salon to run it. I think Ru Paul is their main man, now that Obama has refused to get out of the war. They know the Galveston cowboy will run away from every confrontation there is, no matter what is at stake.

Ha, I would bet that Karl Rove had something to do with this. Rove and the Bushes hate Perry, and this would be an ideal way to smear both Perry and Paul. There is so much dirty stuff in politics, that you cannot take anything at face value.

They may not like Perry, but it would take a paulbot to stoop this low.

Paul said on Fox today that he wasn’t answering any questions about this incident. He didn’t deny it or admit it.

That means he wants it to go forward.

You know Tx politics are a fight to the death. I have to give Perry kudos for withstanding the onslaught thru 3 gov elections. The more they attack the more entrenched I become in Perry’s camp. I originally wanted Paul Ryan.

I got the impression from Paul this Am, that like Zero he thinks he is smarter than everyone else. I can see him doing the same thing Zero just did. Ignoring the will of Congress and ruling by exec order. Very dangerous practice.

If it somehow becomes the responsibility of each candidate to decry the words of their supporters, then we should anticipate Senor Perry’s forthcoming daily apology for his border-hopping buddies, who thank him daily for allowing them to sneak across unprotected Texas borderlands by robbing, raping, and killing American citizens. And I’ll look forward to hearing him apologize for thank-yous from all the illegal immigrant students he sent to school on the taxpayers’ dime.

Unsurprisingly, you’ve got nothing to say about anything ELSE I posted. Of course, the actions Perry’s taken as governor, which make clear he’s no principled conservative, are irrefutable.

“Yeah yeah...whatever!”

A comeback like that sure keeps in perspective which conservative candidates are running on principles and a record which adheres to them, and which aren’t. Keep up the good work there, Pravda.

“I guess that’s how he’s won 10 races and never been defeated.”

For such a supposedly great campaigner, no one seems to remember that Perry in his last gubernatorial bid did about as well against the liberal Bill White as McCain did against Obama in Texas, roughly 12% better. BUT those spreads are from when Obama had an UP year 2008 and Republicans supposedly had an UP year in 2010! If Perry was so loved by Texans, wouldn’t you think that in an up year for Republicans, he’d be up far beyond the 12% a tool like McCain won by? By comparison, in the attorney general’s race, the GOP candidate won statewide by a 30 point spread—as pretty much all other Republicans in statewide races did. What made ol’ electable Rick Perry run 18 points closer to a LIBERAL than any other statewide Republican?

And the closest race he’s run has actually been against a liberal, by the way—Jim Hightower, who’s left of Karl Marx. So this is probably NOT the guy you want running against a liberal on a national basis, when he can only win by 2 points against an out-and-out leftist in Texas.

That’s just silly. If this guy really supported RP, why would he announce it, knowing that it would make RP look bad? You can’t take anything at face value in politics. Rove has used lots of dirty tricks over the decades. They all do.

I do not think anyone has ever accused a paulbot of having much common sense. If they did they surely would not be supporting someone who blamed 9/11 on America. Wants gays in the military. Wants to legalize drugs and thinks all we need is one submarine to protect our entire coast. Who, with any common sense would support this surrender monkey?
