A familiar voice is back. Veteran radio host and newsman Andy Parks will return to the Washington airwaves with an afternoon program that combines his inimitable personality with a powerful news source and established media brand.
Andy Parks Live From The Washington Times debuts Aug. 22 from a studio overlooking the newsroom of The Washington Times. The afternoon drive-time show from 3 to 6 p.m. will be heard on Metro Radio Inc. stations WTNT-AM (730) and WKDL-AM (1250), and streamed live on washingtontimes.com and 730wtnt.com.

Andy's a much better alternative to Hannity on WMAL, who just disgusts me with his pandering and self promotion.
630 WMAL Ping List.
Yep. Looking forward to Andy being back. Maybe a good idea to put up a thread on Monday to remind people (especially us senile types). Am marking calendar.
Skip Hannity completely - I'll definitely tune in to Andy now!
Tx! Nice to have an alternative!
Can’t Wait!
Can’t stand Hannity’s format any longer... it’s dreadful!
I’m usually in my car from 4-6pm, so this is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I’ve missed Andy, and I jope that Grandy can join him soon...

Great news!
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Grandy and Andy was so much better than the morning majority
Have you been listening? Know you’re in the car right now .. but it’s off to a good start! Thanks for the heads-up.
Heard the first two hours. Loved it!
I’ll e-mail him about it, too.
I think he said he’s at www.washingtontimes.com/andyparks
Is he leaving the WTNT 3-6 slot?
Do y’all know if One America (or America One), the conservative news channel is still set to air this summer?
Yes I believe...I put a sep. post here on FR about it. The following is from the Tom Taylor Now newsletter:
>>Andy Parks Washington Times-based radio show moves to Salems WWRC (1260). Parks was once half of the Grandy and Andy morning show on WMAL (630), working with former TV actor and ex-Congressman Fred Grandy. More recently, he partnered with the Washington Times newspaper to create a daily radio show based in its newsroom, and carried on a regional network around Washington DC that included Metro Radios WTNT (730 plus a translator at 102.9). DCRTV.com recently reported the end of Andys deal with Metro and now says Parks radio show will be re-positioned from afternoon drive (3-6pm on WTNT) to middays (11am-1pm) on Salems conservative talk WWRC. Andy will be sandwiched in between Salem Radio Networks Mike Gallagher and Dennis Prager part of a program, says the Washington Times, for Salem to add local show to some of its conservative talk stations in markets like Houston, Dallas and Chicago.
>>Despite recent power increases, WWRC has yet to make any significant ripples in the DC radio ratings pond...And, I try not to laugh at the latest news that the Washington Times is starting a midday radio show for Andy Parks on WWRC, which I think should change its call letters to minimize confusion with WRC-TV. --Dave Hughes
From radio-locator.com, the WWRC signal range (day). I don't know if other stations will simulcast
