Install a panic-button lockdown for the doors.
(mic) PA: Ok shoppers, please line up at the cash register.
Simple.
Yep...a person could make a killing installing security turnstyle doors to these places.

Hmmmmm, 10 women, $60 each, $600.
And how much would it be to replace a door that was shattered because it was locked? Or to pay for a damaged clerk because the 10 women turned on him or her? Or, how much will the lawsuit be settle for when one of the flash robbers is injured in the panic to open the locked doors?
That would be kind of like locking yourself in a cage with a bunch of angry chimpanzees.
While I understand why you would make such a suggestion, I disagree.
Locking unknown bad guys in your environment is not advisable. Assault, hostage taking... just too many bad things to list. This is why banks don’t lock bad guys in, they lock them out after they leave the building.
However, there must be a way to discourage this, because it is definatly going to spread across the country.
