Republicans Decry DHS Deportation Review as "Amnesty"
Fox News ^ | August 19, 2011

Republicans accused the Obama administration of instituting "backdoor amnesty" after officials announced they would launch a case-by-case review of illegal immigrants slated for deportation in an effort to thin the list and focus resources on kicking out criminals. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, one of the president's toughest critics on border security, said the move amounts to the administration implementing an immigration overhaul "via executive fiat." "The plan amounts to backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of illegal aliens," the Republican governor said in a written statement.

There they go again! The Hispanic lobby has accused Obama for not doing enough for them. So, to be assured of their vote in the forthcoming election Obama has decided to arbitrarily implement a mass illegal amnesty program. Be prepared for even more bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals, escalating social welfare costs, overcrowded prisons and more ravages from the drug cartel.

The next step will be the right to vote for former illegals (read guaranteed Demonrat votes). When that happens it will be “all she wrote” for this formerly great republic.

“Decry” is that all the Republicans can do? Where are our presidential nominees on this? Why isn’t that either the Tea Party or Palin is speaking up?

Amen! By the way, I had to laugh when I read the part which said they would concentrate on “criminals.” Since when did entering our nation illegally not become a crime?

You’re right and voting is already on the agenda of the illegal lobby. Does any sane person think for a second that Obama and his far-Left allies won’t sell us down the river for those votes?

Good question. We need to hold their feet to the fire on this vital issue. Where are you when we need you, Tom Tancredo?! By the way, the candidate I trust least on the issue is Romney who is a pure opportunist.

Polling won’t come from the MSM unless the polls are doctored to get the results they want.

So what are YOU doing? The TEA Party has been shouting itself hoarse about this issue for two years now. It is time for We the People to show some outrage. Get your friends calling reps, writing letters, etc. This selective enforcement of laws is ridiculous.

That is why I think amnesty is less popular now than it was five years ago. Now that unemployment is sky high the “they are only doing jobs that Americans won’t do” argument will not work. Rememeber when McStain said “who wants to pick lettuce for $50 hour?” However, we can always count on the Repubicans to chicken out and try to kiss La Raza’s ass.

Sure can’t speak for all the TEA parties, but ours are working hard to give Lugar the boot in IN. You may remember that he sponsored the DREAM Act. Keep an eye on Sarah, I’m sure she will have something to say about this-usually takes about 48 hours. Thanks for doing your part, FRiend.
