.........If Chris Christie leaves NJ to run for Pres. I will be really POed, and besides I don’t think he’ll play in Peoria. He’s very soft on the 2nd amendment and definitely no better on immigration than Perry.

And I think Christie is fuzzy on global warming. He and Perry are good on going after teacher unions.

Of the current field of announced candidates, I think Romney is the safest bet. Is he perfect? No. But he is nominally electable and has the fewest handicaps going in.

ORomneycare is his worst disaster. He isn't even a RINO, he is a dim with an (r) behind his name. You may get the ZOT for that reply. Just say no to mittens.

It doesn’t seem inflammatory to me. There’s nothing wrong with knowing what the opposition will be arguing about. This article would certainly not deter me for voting or supporting Perry.

Many of those would love W to be in the WH now...his unemployment numbers were outstanding compared to this mongrel. He also didn’t destroy jobs or the economy on purpose. So yes, they’d vote Perry easily.

Christie is great in NJ but I’m not sure he would play well in the south or west!!! He’s pretty liberal on some issues.

” Any such rant that you mentioned will either be covered up or rationalized away.”

A psychotic rant by obuma won’t be covered up. It will cheered and broadcast 24/7 by his insane ideologue followers because that’s what his fascist rat worshipers want. Count on it. After the useful idiots realize what happened, it will be too late.

You’re probably right if you’re talking about MSNBC and a handful of liberal radio shows. Nowhere else though.

The one who never gets tired of posting, pimping?,
their candidate is clear YOU, Cincinatus’ Wife

Now, why does the post of Gov. Palin
so bother YOU and RINO Perry?

and why DID Perry interfere with people speaking with
Gov. Palin? Seems not appropriate, and something else.

How do posting the urls and picture constitute
a “lie”? Is that you projecting, again?

Is that Captain Gardasil thinking again?
The kind which attempts to remove ‘informed consent’
so to enable selling children as guinea pigs for profit?

Thanks for the link, she gave a nice talk and was answering questions quite well until she was cut off. Fwiw, this was reported by Human Events, not the HuffPo. Here is the quote from the piece:

The Republican Governors Conference Press Guidelines promised that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would “take approximately 20 minutes of questions” at today’s morning press conference. Instead, this press conference, attended by 150 local and national media and taped by 26 video cameras, disintegrated into a fiasco when Texas Governor Rick Perry shut it down after only five minutes and four questions.

Eight other governors assembled on the stage, all men, seemed visibly uncomfortable with the “Palin at center stage” format. When Perry stepped in front of Palin at the podium to announce it was over just as it was getting started, Palin looked irritated, and the media shouted, “You’ve got to be kidding,” “This is ridiculous,” "Come on,” and “We were promised more questions.”

Forty minutes later, at a larger gathering attended by most the seventeen governors at the Conference, Bill Kristol of The Weekly Standard may have given the reason why Palin was reined in: envy. Said Kristol, “This is not the Republican Governors Association. This is really the Republican Presidential Candidates Association.”

I saw the footage you linked to, and the report appears correct, he cut off her questioning and was visibly miffed. Cordial, but miffed. The reporters said just what was reported in 2008, this is not an attempt by Palin supporters to rewrite what happened, but it does appear a few Perry supporters are trying to deny the fact that it did happen the way the article describes.

This is not a deal killer for me, I'll support him if he wins, but it's one of the many reasons he's not my first choice.

He did not interfere with her speaking.
She even got another 20 minutes later in the day.

I do not go on Sarah Palin threads like you do to Perry threads and carpet bomb them with this crap.

I made clear it was a VIDEO at the Huffington Post that began this. The rest is just your conjecture. I said LOOK at the video. I suggest that's where one can make their own judgement of the tone of the interview (the questioners were clearly hostile and making her uncomfortable) and how Perry acted toward the media and toward Palin.

The link we've been talking about is from Human Events, a conservative publication. It's where I got my quotes from, what Diogenesis quotes are from and where the reporting was done. She was handling the questions with ease from what I could tell, much like she did in Iowa a week or so ago.

It was other conservatives who reported at the time that Perry was miffed and envious, not something I'm extrapolating now. It's in the clip, and in context the reporting was correct.

Like I say, this is not a deal killer for me, the big issue for me so far is Perry's past dalliance with La Raza and his apparent tightness with the W clan on illegal immigration. I don't want that in our nominee, not now, not ever.

The campaign is just beginning, we'll see how this all shakes out in the next 6-9 months.

You are disingenuous.

Like your false claims that the RINO Perry
did not attempt to mandate Gardasil for children.

The URLs speak for themselves both with RINO Perry’s
attempt to force a useless drug on chaste children
and his attempts to rewrite this matter.

NO Sale. NO RINOs.

You and Diogenesis make a good anti-Perry team.

We don't communicate at all. I took him to task for the exaggeration of the Gardisil efforts a month ago on one of your threads.

You're just upset now that I'm doing (rightfully) the same to your claim here.

Like I say, this strange episode with him cutting Palin off is not a huge deal to me, it's the illegal issue that might be the deal killer, I'm waiting to see how he handles it going forward because so far he hasn't handle it well by his La Raza pandering.
