“I actually think Christie would be a very good choice”

Well, you are right, Christie is a fantastic public speaker.

I worked on a congressional campaign last year (a losing one, despite all the tea party upheaval, NJ is so well gerry mandered that ALL our incumbent congress critters were ret’d to office) and Christie spoke at a little rally right at the end of the campaign.

He was FANTASTIC!

I came home raving to hubby “Now I see why people want him to run for President!”

The group was largely a tea party group and many, many (maybe most) had not voted for him in the primary (I did), and I’m pretty sure he knew that.

But, nevertheless, he spoke to that group in the most perfect way, directly to their concerns, praised their efforts, urged them to do more, etc.

The man really has a gift. Even though he never even looked over in my direction, nevertheless I felt he was speaking directly to me. Right to my heart.

Now, that sounds a little over the top, I realize, but that was how I felt, I am not exaggerating.

Aside from that experience, he’s really lived up to my expectations. I voted for Christie because he is fat. I said to myself, a guy like that, so heavy, people are so prejudiced against fat people, but he’s been so successful, he must have a talent for working with people, for getting his way, for getting things done.

So far as can be expected, I think, he’d done that.

And, we need him and you can’t have him!

Christie is great in NJ but I’m not sure he would play well in the south or west!!! He’s pretty liberal on some issues.
