Obama accuses Congress of holding back recovery Photo 6:04am EDT

By Laura MacInnis

VINEYARD HAVEN, Massachusetts (Reuters) - A vacationing President Barack Obama accused Congress on Saturday of holding back the U.S. economic recovery by blocking "common sense" measures he said would create jobs and help growth.

In remarks recorded on Wednesday on his campaign-style bus tour in Illinois and aired during his holiday in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Obama said the stalled construction, trade and payroll tax bills could give a boost to the economy.

"The only thing preventing us from passing these bills is the refusal by some in Congress to put country ahead of party. That's the problem right now. That's what's holding this country back," the president said in his weekly radio address, which is also transmitted on the Internet.

Obama accuses Congress of holding back recovery

Okay Barry. Whatever.

When he gets back from another one of his 'Barry's Excellent Adventures', and is about to give that MUCH anticipated 'Jobs Plan Speech' in September. He's going to step up to the TOTUS and say ........

(waiting ..... waiting ..... waiting ....)
"My fellow Americans. Uh ... the dog ate my plan.
I'll have to get back to you in .... oh ... October.
Thank you and goodnight."
(then slowly walks away)

The President’s real problem is that he is black. If he were not burdened with the cross of Black America, the ignorance, the lack of education, the urban detritus, the president would be free to act in a more responsible manner.

His problem is that he is in fact black, not white. His vacation is an attempt to be white, to shake off the cross for a day or two and relish the loss of the black burden that drags him down

He is further burdened with a black wife and two black daughters. He must accept they are not white and being family, must treat them with the same bold initiative. Ice cream and a book store on an isolated Massachusetts island are white. He should be treating them to real black foods in say nearby downtown Baltimore.

That is why he is burdened. He cant’ shed the burden and be black. He must constantly to prove it doesn’t exist an strive to appear white.

*********************

This is the article that would appear if he were Bush. As we know so well, the burden is Bush’s fault

“No I didn’t. Honest... I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood! Locusts! IT WASN’T MY FAULT I SWEAR TO GOD!”

The trade bills need to be submitted to Congress by the President first.

"I wonder what kind of damage he will do when he leaves office? If he gets kick out in 2012 this slug could be back in 2016. "

Or maybe someone like him. We have yet to see the full impact of the momentum that is destroying this country, which is multiculturalism. A society without a dominant culture cannot survive. Even the Communists understand that. We keep on this road, it's not a question of if, it's a question of when.

What a piece of work.

Congress had nothing to do with giving jobs to 300,000 illegal aliens.

Everyone knows that they will be the first to be hired because companies don't have to abide by the same rules as hiring a citizen or permanent resident.

Baloney. It's YOUR policies, Mr. President, that is not only holding back the recovery, but driving the entire world into possibly an economic depression. No thank you!

Multiculturalism is national suicide, and political correctness is the cyanide capsule.

We have already bit down on the capsule.

Does anyone pay any attention to his spouted drivel?

Yes, about 40% of the electorate; however, one hopes that 10% deficit will be hard to make up even with vote fraud.

I hope the GOP candidate beat the heck out of him with his favorite “common sense” phrase...something like: we reject that Obama’s “common sense” tax increases will put people back to work, we reject that his “common sense” government takeover of healthcare will reduce cost while increasing coverage, we reject the EPA’s “common sense” avalanche of regulations will increase jobs, we reject the President’s “common sense” moratoria on drilling will help us be less dependent on foreign oil...

Congresses, Presidents and Socialists past have brought us to this day.

DEFUND socialist collectives, foreign and domestic. ANY non-socialist candidate (crickets chirping?) needs to pound POSOTUS into the dustbin of history.

FUBO and the current/previous socialists/useful idiots you rode in on.

The Democrats rely on a number of factors for their success:

Plus Obama is channeling the ghost of Harry Truman in his campaign of 1948 in running against a "Do Nothing" Congress. The problem is, as so many others have pointed out, that Obama had a complete legislative control over his first 2 years, and still has it over the US Senate now and for the next 16 months! Personally, I think that this is desperation and I love the smell of "Obama Flop Sweat" in the morning.
