You should tell that to RINO Rick; he's the RINO, I'm a conservative.
If you try to tar everyone then it losses force.
I've tarred no one. Perry's record reveals he is anything but conservative. That may be hard for you and other Perry supporters to accept, but it is fact.
Perry is more conservative then Romney or Bush. He definitely is not a favorite on 7th street, at least not yet.
So that's the measure in which conservatives should pick their nominee --- he/she just need be more conservative than Mitt Romney? I don't think so. And...btw...Bush isn't running. We need a conservative representing our conservative values, not a proven RINO. Rick Perry is a proven RINO. Some may want to overlook that. I don't.
At what point does one become Conservative enough?
Are you seeking a perfect, error-free candidate?
At what point does perfect become the enemy of good or great?
The last perfect man was murdered by the religious authorities of his day, so demanding perfection from a lesser man is a mission doomed from the start.
And at what point does attacking one candidate make your preferred candidate any better?
