It seems most people who support rick perry haven’t really reviewed at his views.

Odd to support somebody you really know nothing about.

Perry authored a bill giving in-state tuition to illegal immigrants and even said he would never take action against the children of illegal immigrants because he was too compassionate.

good post. Once you read and do just a little research on Perry he is not even close to the candidate that Palin is.Not even in her league.

Perry authored a bill giving in-state tuition to illegal immigrants

How does a governor author a bill?

In fact "Author: Noriega | Garcia | Hill | Reyna, Elvira | Flores" are listed as the authors of the first in-state tuition bill that passed on a House vote of 142-1 and Senate 30-0

The revision in 2005 lists Zaffirini as author.

It passed with every vote in the affirmative.

The Senate log (scroll to page 4501) says this: "The motion prevailed by the following vote: Yeas 29, Nays 0."

The House legislative log (scroll to page 4560) says this: "SBi1528 was passed. (In accordance with House Rule 5, Section 51(b), every member present must have favored passage of the measure, but any member may register their position with the journal clerk. No members registered their position on this measure.)"
