I do find the name BOUNELL very much in evidence in my native country England. The 1880 census for the USA records this:
John M Bounell. 31 years old.
Born England about 1849.
Iron Merchant
Wife. Emily. 27 years old.
Born Ohio.
Son. Joseph F. 3 years.
Son. Hugh B. W. 4 months.
They live in Cook County. Chicago. Illinois. Back tracking I find that a plethora of lawyers, doctors, merchants are their neighbours. Upscale indeed.
Not much here, but of some interest.

Sorry! need to get my computer fixed. I did hit the “enter button” to hurry it up. Three entries.
I’m sorry, but this is a load of crap. If it was real, the “investigator” would have taken the time to identify the source data for the Bounel name (e.g., IL County XYZ public records, document number whatever). Instead, we get some vague crap about some unidentified database.
Either naive and amateurish, or incompetent.
So is it possible that John Bounell could be HJ Bounel and they also are part of the Land Trust?
The purpose of my entry was to indicate a like surname in Chicago, in 1880. Now I have just, even now, spent more time to run down the name, Harrison J Bounel. Maybe there is a logical explaination.
No census, no marriage, no death, no birth record. Hopefully if someone can find any record it will be all to the good. At least some sort of reference to relatives could be made, or he himself, might clear matters up. Now I reasoned - playing the devils advocate, that if it was a made up name, there must be some sort of original reference. It is a long shot, but if the eventual descendants of the English born Bounell, have some sort of like name, it could be a clue.
Again, Harrison J Bounel could be the "man who never was"- myself I hope he can be found.
When this first came out there was a reference that either Harrison Bounel or Obama had property on Washington Ave in Deer Park Long Island. There is a row of streets named after Presidents that Washington Avenue is within. The names are Grant through Harrison, with Washington in the middle. I think This is where they came up with the name Harrison.

I was gratified to be able to get this information. True, I may be completely off track, but names are my hobby as in genealogy.
I have gone to the extra mile with Ancestry.Com and Genes Re-United with the LDS Family search, also various census. I am actually enjoying it.
To American citizens, it must be of vital importance, if their President has not stood the test. My uneasy feeling comes from reading "Dreams From My Father". The current situation at present demands the very best from the leader. Well, we will see if the President can be exonerated of the many doubts about him. He could make a detailed statement of course. This through his press secretary.
Thanks. The property at Washington Ave. is an industrial area. Junk yard type property, with a train station near it. An “Hispanic flavor” to the area.
With all the references to presidents, and president Harrison, it looks like this was added to his data after he started running for President. Very strange.
Maybe the property was given to him as a bribe, like his house was.
