Pictures of the guy falling at the news link. Decided not to post out of respect for the family of the deceased. So sad!

Northeast of Detroit by about 35 miles - next to Lake St. Clair.

"Northeast of Detroit by about 35 miles - next to Lake St. Clair"Thank you for the clarification. I wish that some of these websites would just give a little more information as to location of the events they cover. I guess that they forget that it's not just the hometown crowd that reads the stories.

Some people worry about getting killed, others don’t, including me.
Apparently you are one that won’t do things that could kill you.

The only reason people do stunts like this, or watch them, is the high probability that someone will fall to his death. Then, when it happens, people get upset. People is the craziest people.

Not really.
This was our third time going to this Airshow. And only the first time this act was there. There were 750,000 people in attendence, a lot of which were children. We came to see the planes.

Almost everything you do can get you killed. Some things can get you killed deader quicker. Do you engage in extremely risky activities? wing walk, ride a motorcycle without a helmet, etc. ?

Northeast of Detroit by about 35 miles... Uh.. No. Mt. Clemens is just North of 16 Mile. Detroit ends at 8 Mile. My last business was near to Selfridge Field. Ten miles at the best. I used to watch the C-130's doing their approaches to the field from my back door.

If he fell only 200 feet, I don’t think a parachute would’ve helped.

Not a good week for air shows, 2 dead.
