I really believe trial lawyers, all of them, suck the life out of the US in addition to all the other things they suck. Damn them all to hell.

Lawyers are not sympathetic figures. Hang the bottom-feeder John Edwards around the trial lawyers’ necks, and they’ll be seen as the thieving, goosestepping fascist scum they are.

This law you’re so concerned about… has it been challenged in federal court? I see many House Dems voted against it. Seems like something they’d challenge or Handgun Control Inc or whomever the gun grabbers are these days.
I actually believe the law to be constitutional in defense of the Second Amendment. It is not constitutional using Commerce Clause justification. It has not been successfully challenged.
He recently refused to answer a reporter’s question about whether, as seems likely, he was carrying a concealed weapon. “That’s why it’s called ‘concealed’,” Perry responded. Earlier this year he supported legislation to allow Texas college students to carry concealed weapons on campus.
The fact that we even have to debate the right of students to carry concealed on a campus funded by taxpayers is sad. If it is a private school then they have the right to restrict it in my opinion, however foolish that may be. Public universities should have no such right.
