Shariah Abolished for Greek Muslims

According to an article of the Greek newspaper “Eleftherotypia”, under the scope of reforms in the Greek Family Law, the Shariah will be abolished for Greek Muslims.

This Muslim law establishes among others the right of polygamy and gives only to men the right to divorce their wives which constitutes a problem for the women in Thraki, Northern Greece. Even in Turkey, this law was abolished in 1926.

In addition, this law does not comply with the Greek constitution which establishes the equality of Greeks regarding the application of the laws and the equality of men and women. The National Committee on the Human Rights considers that the Shariah does not protect minorities but abuses the rights and values of all the Greek Muslims.

It is also announced that the family and hereditary relations of all Greek citizens will be regulated by Greek Laws. Thus, the Mufti will only be religious leader of Greek Muslims and will no longer have judicial authorities.

I consider this a major groin kick to the koranimals who desire to impose sharia law in any country throughout Dar al harb.

The boys and girls of Greece made a difference in WWII. May they make a difference once more as they move forward and advise those thinking of allowing Shariah to be the law for moslems to take a second look, as Shariah is not compatible with the west and western philosophy, and as Greece asks all not to fail to recognize the danger of considering moslems as a privileged class within their western nation, may other nations begin what is necessary and proper to preserve, protect, and defend the West. Stand proud Greece ... Sensing your country has taken the field. If this is a false report (do not know) then heed the advice of those fighting back Greece. You are welcome to take the field and scout.

gives only to men the right to divorce their wives

Women are not allowed to divorce their wives? Unfair!

thank you for finding this!!!
this is the best news i’ve seen all month !

i honestly wouldn’t have believed this possible under the E.U. umbrella.

the land that was the origin of much of our science, and beliefs in individual liberty, once again points the way...

as i believe you know, that isn’t even in the top 100,
of “Unfair things in Islam”.

my introduction, was partly because of
#87. Muslim men can marry kuffirs. If a muslima does,
she becomes apostate, under sentence of death.

but the ultimate is #1. It is up to the HUSBAND to decide if the wife can go to Heaven. if she fails to please him, he can deny her admittance.

What took them so long to acknowledge/discover this? Is anybody in Greece even aware of or reading their constitution for the past 2 decades?

The only thing that I can say is better late than never.

Now, if only our “esteemed” politicians would take note of these positive developments and follow Greece’s lead we still may have a chance to stop sharia law from infecting all of the US.

Best bit of writing that Leon Uris did, imho, was The Angry Hills.

You bet the Greeks made a difference in WWII! The Battle of Crete stalled the nazis is their tracks.

Ten percent of the population died in that war—and Germany has still to pay reparations for war crimes.

But that other genocidew partner of Germany - Turkeyland - the land of Muslim fascism is making trouble again-—never stops.

in Germany, a year or two ago, there was an iron-clad case
(in Bavaria?), showing the words of the Quran itself, violated German “hate crime” laws.
...the case was thrown out.

Islam is by it’s own words, seditious. yet no one even tries to ban it.

and the larger the % of Muslims in the USA, or any other country, the LESS likely anything will be done to stop it.

i adored Leon Uris. I read “Exodus” when i was 11.

My Dad’s friends told him i didn’t understand it,
so he quizzed me. i did. and quoted sections to prove my points.

this began my life of Israelphilia.

QB7 was where i stopped reading Uris. the Warsaw ghetto was too much for me.

and then, in the past 10 years, i learn about the “flip” side - Islam. including going inside a masjid for awhile, like Debbie Schussel.
As the Pope said in that old quote (badly paraphrased)- what remains after the part Islam copied, is evil.

i know. you’ve written many great posts.
(which is one reason i remember your name.)

and that is why i started with:

“as i believe you know,”

...i was simply adding more unfair examples,
that others here might not know.

great link and true comments!

Italy couldn’t defeat Greece at all.

and Turkey is our NATO ally???
even while “moderate and secular”,
they invaded Cyprus with classic Jihad rape and murder.

who remembers that Cyprus is still divided and occupied ?

Never read Exodus. Angry Hills, though, is a great read about Greece in WW II.
