I didn’t mean I think Perry is a neocon or a Bush crony. I don’t really know. The article certainly didn’t prove that. It did suggest that Perry believes in American exceptionalism. Hm, imagine that.
What's wrong with that? A stronger Russia is a more effective balancer against China. The more stable the balance of power is in the Old World, the less pressure for American intervention on the other side of the world.
There were folks in Britain, France and the US, who argued that Nazi Germany would be a bulwark against communism. How did that work out?
