I feel certain that once they're released, they'll drive home in their gasoline-powered vehicles, turn on the lights and the air-conditioning, get something to eat and drink out of their refrigerators, and then spend the rest of the day watching TV or playing on their computers.

I think people like this should be deprived of the benefits of oil-based fuel and electricity. It would do them good to experience the actual results of their beliefs. There would be far fewer liberals in this country if they weren't constantly protected from the consequences of their beliefs and actions.

about 7 years ago or so, I purchased something that caused me to get free copies of "Rolling Stone" mag... the rants against industry - oil, Mircosoft, chemical, pharma, tobacco, etc., the articles critical of materialism/consumerism...

it all made me laugh because those pages were interspersed with adds for every high end gadget and expensive piece of clothing.
