That, in a nutshell, is why this program will tank. When she was on the rise, she was young, somewhat cute and not too political. Now she is showing her age and everyone knows she's a Leftwing loon too. No one wants to watch that.

Actually, I am not sure I agree with that. She was in her element on the Today Show. Banal talk is what she does well. Politics aside, I have no animus for her entertainment show. -as long as she sticks to that.

Media ownership suffers from a terminal lack of imagination. Instead of finding an interesting person from among the 300,000,000 people who populate our country they continue to dip into the few hundred who get rejected time after time.

Proctologists all over the world are all atwitter as the new show nears its premier.

In the kick-off of her new show, cleverly named “Katie,” the failed CBS talking head produced yet another special based on her nationally televised, award-winning (the prestigious Sphyncter Cup) colonoscopy of several years ago.

Unfortunately, so much of the footage was found to contain images such as the still seen here that it was rendered unusable and the project had to be s**tcanned.

Katie told interviewers later that this is how she spends much of her free time as this is where she gets some of her best program ideas. She cited her interview with Hillary Clinton as a prime example.
