But yet, 48% say they will vote Obama for President in the Gallup election matchup polls. Someone explain to me how that makes sense.

Just wait until he takes his next expensive vacation paid for by the taxpayers. Keep taking those vacations Barry boy, I just love what it does to your poll numbers.

I love it.

This morning, Rasmussen posts a new all-time approval index low for Hussein (-26) and now Gallup has his approval number down to a new low of 38%.

This is not a good day for the Muslim Marxist occupying the Oval Office. I don’t see any way he’s going to be able to rebound from these absolutely abysmal poll numbers.

Results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults; Margin of error is ±3 percentage points.

Even with the most favorable sample Gallop could find, Obummer still is dead man walking. Let's see what the wizards in the WH come up with to spin this one.

It has to be lower among registered voters.

“These are ADULTS”

My God.....imagine how bad his numbers are among likely voters that actually pay attention.

Disapproval numbers include people who don’t like how liberal he is AND those on the left who feel like he is wasting an opportunity to make the country more liberal. Naturally, those in the second group would never consider a Bachman, Palin, or Perry ticket.

It makes perfect sense. When you have a dozen candidates running against Obummer, when asked about head to heads, people will support their guy and not the other. It is evident here at FR. Just look back at other cycles and the same always pops up. Wait till we have one candidate to rally around. Then the polls will reflect the true sentiment of voters. It will be ugly for Obummer.

Ain’t that the truth! Remember how Wolf Blitzer was absolutely orgasmic when Bush’s approval number dropped to 36% in a CNN poll and he breathlessly reported it OVER and OVER and OVER....

Well, here’s Obama quickly closing in on that number and all we hear coming from the state-run media are the sound of crickets.

If you were a strong lefty liberal, and did not approve of Obama because he wasn't liberal enough, there's no way you would vote for a conservative come election day 2012. You would still vote for the most liberal candidate you could - Obama.

It doesn't, and the anomaly won't last. Unless Obama can reverse direction and improve his numbers, he's dead man walking. There is no precedent for an incumbent President this weak running for reelection since Hoover, and that was before systematic modern polling. Presidents have polled lower, but Obama’s unpopularity is almost unique. He's made a terrible mess, the only thing he knows how to do is make it worse and the electorate is starting to notice.

The danger is that things are getting so bad for Obama that he will pull an LBJ and make way for a more formidable Dem candidate (probably one named Clinton). Any other Dem would be just as destructive as Obama, but, with a different candidate the electorate might just be fooled again. Here's hoping it doesn't happen.

I think, considering Obozo’s enormous ego, if the numbers look this bad(or worse) a year from now, he will come up with a mysterious “illness” that will preclude him from running for a 2nd term.
