Wow! Once again, just like the folks on DU, you set up a straw man to attack. You Perry haters just can't find any affirmative argument for your candidates, can you? You just have to make it personal.

I did not say "everybody" and your saying so makes you one of those liars.

I did not say all who attack Perry are liberals or liars and your saying so again makes you one of the liars.

What I did say is that the attacks have all been lies, half-truths and things taken out of context . . . which for the most part they have and that they who are using those tactics are emulating liberals at DU.

A number of the criticisms are legitimate, his stance on illegal immigration is shaky and he has been guilty of some questionable business deals in the public-private partnerships, but the vast majority of attacks coming from folks like you have been disingenuous at best, more intended to cause harm than to be factually correct.

Lastly, if the shoe fits, wear it.

Find me where that crap has had to be employed among Perry supporters. Confidence and certainty is something Rick exudes with cheerfulness. Yes, cheer. Something a leader exhibits with no whining. Your remark is out of the Palin supporter’s handbook. Everyone was a traitor and a turncoat to the Republic if they were not perfectly and exactly positioned on the Palin band wagon. I have the bruises to show for it. It didn’t matter that the clock ran out on her and she strung us along exceedingly, whether we favored another candidate, or finally dumped her dance of the seven veils over and moved on to someone who would commit and make a run, we were worse than liberal trolls, jealous, or took the name calling around here where it has hurt her, not her followers. That’s all over, now that Perry is in. We’re moving on, to the White House.

Probably because some folks are tired of being accused of being liars or liberals if they DO support “St. Rick”.

For example, I don't support Palin running, because I don't think she did the hard work to build up her resume over the last two and a half years, and I think her poll numbers are too low to be a credible threat to the President. What I don't say is she is a “RINO” because she happened to endorse John McCain.

When folks call Perry a RINO, they are in a sense saying his supporters are too...in other words, liars or liberals (what a RINO is, after all, by literal definition).

I suspect some folks here kinda got tired of that, and are fighting back.
