Protests? Is that what they’re calling civil war these days?

While watching the circus in Libya, our neighbor here in Thailand commented: “They are killing each other about who gets to receive the bribes, here we have elections to determine that.” Cynical as the statement was, it reminded me of the USA.

Yes, the popular will was so strong it only took some idealistic youths, NATO, the EU, the UN, the ICC, the Obama administration, the US State Department and Al Quaida to topple him in this lightening swift campaign of manifest destiny and righteousness. A true inspiration to all.

Sounds good. He wouldn’t be there one day before he’d be kidnapped and held for ransom.

From ABCNews.go.com:

Libyan government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim said "the death toll [in Tripoli] is beyond imagination," and said NATO has the blood of innocent Libyans on its hands because of the cover it provided for the rebel forces.

"NATO kills anything that moves," he said, blaming NATO for the "true tragic event taking place in Tripoli."

"We hold Mr. Obama, Mr. Cameron and Mr. Sarkozy morally responsible for every single unnecessary death that takes place in this country," Ibrahim said.

What do these people defending this overthrow think, that the Muslim Brotherhood is a part of the Libyan Tea Party?

Is that the dead sons, the live sons, are the captured sons, where is the foxy daughter. Next option, made up story out of the CIA like the rest. What fool thought the ragtags could fight their way into Tripoli and hold like the United States military did in Baghdad.
