Just like the GPA issue, let’s ask those protesting to redistribute THEIR financial aid.

Public handouts to those who are not even part of the public but instead lurk in the shadows, speak someone else’s language, and take someone else’s job.

The beauty of America...

How about no government aid to anyone? Watch exorbitant tuition costs drop like a rock in water.

Here in Michigan we just cut off food stamps to 30,000 college kids. Its expected to save $75 million per year.

Under Granholm, there were no standards for college kids to get food stamps. For instance, my niece got a full scholarship but was eligible for food stamps. It was the same for students from wealthy families who were paying full tuition.

If you give illegal aliens instate tuition, it follows that they and their enablers will ask for more. It’s automatic. I wonder how Perry would respond to this?

"undocumented college students"

More newspeak!

"Liberals"
"Progressives"
"Love is hate"
"Freedom is slavery"
"War is peace"

"The Tea Party is terrorist!"

George Orwell was a prophet.

I’ve always loved this euphemism, “undocumented.” Oh! It’s not that they’re ILLEGALLY HERE! It’s that they are totally legal and have just misplaced their paperwork, right? Right?

It’s technically incorrect, in any case. The overwhelming majority of illegals have lots of “documents.” Starting with a matricular consular (sp) card ...

Reminds me of a snark: “He’s not an illegal drug dealer. He’s an UNDOCUMENTED PHARMACIST. How about a grant?”

What happens to a smart American kid who doesn’t wish to indebt themselves with Government loans. What happens to American kids who do wish to go to these schools no matter what, but their spot is filled with an illegal?
We take Basketball & Football players who can’t read

We spend charity money for illegal undocumented people living here legally while telling American kids Tough Sh!t.
We have already paid year in and year out to put these illegal kids through High School and now we are expected to put them through college.

That isn’t right. It will never be right.

Why not? Cali has to do something with that huge budget surplus of theirs.

Well, since so many of Perry’s Supporters on FreeRepublic are adamant about Perry being a true-blue conservative, and Perry signed a law providing for the same, shouldn’t we all support such nonsense?

Well?

They’ll find a justification for anything. The Perry cheer squad is like code pink, utterly lacking in the moral courage to do the right thing out of fear of injuring their idol.

Still waiting around for your chosen one to make up her mind whether or not to run?

We know exactly where Perry stands: it's a state issue and if CA wants this, CA can do it.

Texas set down in-state eligibility requirements in 2001 (veto-proof majorities) and tightened them up in 2005 (not one legislator opposed). No lawsuit was filed until Dec. 2009. It was bounced from federal court in April 2010. An April 2011 article on the Maryland situation suggests a hearing was scheduled in June in a Harris County TX state court but it looks like the case was dropped in May.
