Considering that many dentists thrive on the drill and bill; this is going to devastate them. I suspect they may find dubious reasons not to use it....

Or the ADA will submit that this chemical is ‘dangerous’ and needs to be a ‘controlled substance’ like most every antibiotic known to man. You have to get it from a dentist, and only a dentist - and he will charge you whatever fee he see’s fit.
Just like Floride rinse.
