Criminals seem to have a thing for big vehicles. The Cadillac Escalade remains the car most likely to be stolen, according to new data from the Highway Loss Data Institute.

This is the fourth year in a row the Escalade has topped this list. The rankings for most stolen cars are based on auto insurance claims data from 2008 and 2009.

Bammie will have to put his guys to work stealing Chevy Volts, to help increase their popularity.

Maybe a few Rap songs on how cool the Chevy Volt is would help.

Nobody's trying to steal my 15-passenger van.

I think that Pacer was a "father-daughter" project car featured in Hot Rod magazine. Nice "restomod", actually - it has a 4.0 Jeep inline 6-cylinder, matching transmission and all the related computer and EFI parts.

I'd own that before a Volt, any day. Even with the purple paint.

I read somewhere recently that to fully restore a well worn 75 Pacer and a 69 Camaro would cost around 30-35,000 bucks each.
In the end the restored Camaro would be worth like 50 grand while the restored Pacer would only fetch 3,500 or so.

35 GRAND! YIKES!!
Unless someone has a granny Pacer hidden away in a garage somewhere I guess I’ll never get one.
On the other hand, I like the Armada and a tricked-out
( lights around the wheel wells) Jeep Commander I saw recently. One of those would probably have a better chance on flooded streets, locally, anyway.

Not sure if this counts...but how about Ghadaffi’s RV? It just got boosted from his farm and rebels are reportedly driving down the highway with it.

Screw the Caddy Escalade. When I win the mega Lotto I'm getting one of these:

Genuine, Dual Quad 409 Bel Air Bubble Top.
The Numbers Matching 409ci 409hp V8 is mated to a Borg Warner T10 4speed Transmission, linked to a Limited Slip Differential with 4.11 Gears.

She's real fine my 409. She's real fine my 409.
My .... 4 .....0 .....9

Well I saved my pennies and I saved my dimes (Giddy up giddy up 409)
For I knew there would be a time (Giddy up giddy up 409)
When I would buy a brand new 409 (409, 409)
Giddy up giddy up giddy up 409 (Giddy up giddy up 409)
Giddy up 409 (Giddy up giddy up 409)
Giddy up 409 (Giddy up giddy up 409)

Seats for Him, twelve apostles, and a couple extra for an extraneous Scribe or Pharisee or the mother of James and John.
