EMT friend of mine tells the story of an attempted suicide where the guy tried to blow his head off with a shotgun. Stuck it under his chin and pulled the trigger.
He must of lost his nerve at the last second as the gun moved a little forward so the barrel was closer to the front of his face. All he succeeded in doing was taking his face off. Paramedics found him with holes where his mouth, nose and eyes had been.
Suicide is a completely selfish act.
That’s what I was thinking. Suicide (and attempted suicide) is tragic, but I admit I laughed. I hope the guy is gonna recover.
