I had a coworker recently who was British (so not able to vote) but very conservative. You bring up Palin and she grimaces. You bring up Bachmann and she sneers. But you bring up Herman Cain, and she thinks he’s great and would vote for him in a minute.
Purely anecdotal but I’ve seen this type of reaction from conservative women more than once.
