How chilling for free speech that an American corporation would limit the right of an employee to make such an innocuous comment!!!!
Would such an admonition have been issued had Azinger made a complimentary comment?

And would otherwise starve.....
I’d tell ESPN “I’ll make any politcal comment I like.”
“Show me where that violates my contract!”

ESPN has 'reminded' Azinger his venture into political punditry violates the company's updated social network policy for on-air talent and reporters issued yesterday. "Paul's tweet was not consistent with our social media policy, and he has been reminded that political commentary is best left to those in that field," spokesman Andy Hall told Game On! in a statement. If that is ESPN's policy/position, then they need to fire Mike Lupica of The Sports Reporters, who now writes a regular political column for the New York Daily News.

Lupica knows nothing about either politics or sports. He has made a good living from being the poster child for Napoleonic Complexes.
Do a simple search and you can see how the other DBs at ESPN (Mayne, Fowler) have been allowed to spew vitriol like Lupica without rebuke, while Azinger and Lou Holtz have been taken to task for their political commentary.

Of course. Look at “Boomer” Berman’s political contributions. They are public record and are easily found on the Internet. He sends huge amounts of money to some of the biggest Moonbats in the country.
