Why do you think the Left wants to attack the Hispanic author of this OpEd and dismiss it as a “fluff piece?”
Could it be the Left feels that they OWN Hispanics, like they believe that they OWN Blacks?
Then again it could be because he’s joined the Republican Party and Rick Perry’s (also a former Democrat) fight for a conservative ascendancy, and the Left will not abide a traitor to their agenda or Hispanics voting for a Republican.
