I believe the only reason Peggy has any readers is because reading her articles are like blowing on a toothache to see if it still hurts.
Noonan got a job writing speeches and a column because she came along when you had to be seen to be hiring girls. She wasn’t and isn’t qualified for either job. Her education at an expensive, no-name private college that is far less demanding than Texas A & M certainly didn’t give her the ability to do serious policy analysis. Yet, she regularly bloviates on politics as if her emotional reactions to candidates had genuine value. The WSJ and other publications that run her column should be ashamed of printing her useless blather.
There are women who actually have something interesting and worthwhile to say, but who are shut out because drones like Noonan, Parker, and others are taking up print space and airtime that they don’t deserve.
