Not necessarily. The Paulistinians are very adept at packing straw polls and whatnot so as to make RoPaul appear to have support that he does not, in fact, have.

I agree - when you looked at the GA GOP straw poll today - most people looked like people you would normally see at GOP events - families, some children, mostly middle aged, middle class, with a few “young republican” types. That is Herman’s demographic. Newt’s was mostly older folks, I think. The RP crowd today certainly stood out - a very young, college crowd as well as some, well, hippies.

I know I’m painting with a broad brush, but that’s kind of the “at a glance” feel.

I felt kind of sad for Bachmann, her table was empty. I almost went and got a sticker of hers to put with my HC buttons and stickers.
