Something funny is going on with gallups numbers recently, they used to be fairly close to rasmussens (who I really trust), and if anything skewed more positive for Obama. But a few weeks ago something changed, and ever since then they have been considerably lower than everyone else.

I am not one of those people who only believe polls when I agree with their results. But I am always suspicious when one is a consistent outlier like gallup has been recently. Especially if they have a history of favoring democrats.

So how does or can reporting Obama’s number worse than they really are help Obama? well i’ve been thinking on this, and here is a possible way they could. By reporting Obama’s numbers as worse than they are now, they can create an artificial comeback later when needed.....

I know... it's out there, and more than likely they just need to tweak their methods to bring them in live with everyone else that has had Obama down in the low to mid 40’s consistently during the last few weeks.

But, like I said I am suspecious.
