I work for a pharma company. Those drugs are a real crapshoot. A miracle for some, but often false hope or worse for others.

So very true. My son is 28 years old. He was diagnosed with ADD (I still don't know what that really is) at four. The diagnoses changed over the years. No medication worked. Most make him more of a challenge. The closest thing to a real diagnosis was OCD. Finally around 4 months ago he was prescribed Risperidone by physician who said our son was delusional. Within days his delusions started winding down. Fewer and fewer random, distracting thoughts. He is like a different person now.

So much medicine still does not know.
