Actually we should have never gone to war over the invasion of Kuwait in the first place. Instead, we should have let Saddam Hussein run over the entire arabian peninsula, getting rid of the corrupt House of Saud in the process.

I submit to you that if that had been the case, we would not have had 9/11, the debacle in Iraq or be bogged down in Afghanistan as we curretnly are. And oil prices would be reasonable and stable as well as the majority of the arab world. And oh yeah, before I forget, Iran wouldn't have the resources or capacity to threaten the region as it would be busy defending itself from Iraq.
