I feel as though I met the author of this piece, Michael Scheuer, or his clones, when I was a Poli Sci major at IU in the late 1970’s. He rattles off the same tired old mantras that the left has been spewing since then, and probably for about a decade before that, too. It came from the professors and far too many of my classmates eagerly drank the Kool-Ade.
Make no mistake, Michael Scheuer wants to see the U.S. punished for its militaristic sins. I’m sure he’s pining for the good old days when the USSR was his gleaming city on the hill.
It is not hard to see his frank admiration for Bin Laden.
Destruction is easy. Building is hard.
You do realize that he was the Head of the Bin Laden Group at the CIA before he resigned, right?
