Someone needs to invent a bear spray forend for a 12 gauge double ....
A guide I used when fly fishing last year uses bear dogs that harrass but won’t chase a bear. Backed by a double 12Ga the guide carried.
When I was stationed up there in the 80’s I used the same rig. A double 12 gauge with 00 buck and a slug.
Purchased a .500 Linebaugh Bisley before I was transfered to the lower 48 but still packed the double 12Ga when fishing.
