President Obama formally announced that Alan Krueger will be his newest economic adviser Monday morning, also suggesting in a Rose Garden statement that he’s about finished with his jobs plan that he’ll announce next week.

His speechifying is soooo confusing. Is he:

A. Acknowledging that small businesses hire people while not providing any support;

B. Giving another handout to unions (working families in Obama-speak);

C. Trying to buy votes in the middle class;

D. Extending unemployment;

E. Telling us he is going to give us the plan in a series of steps that will last until after the next election; or

F. All of the above.
