You mean you Canadians are willing to build a pipe line, well hell do it. Oil is a global commodity, where your sell it does nothing to price.

I'm not sure where you are coming from. The production from the oil sands is ramping up to the point where it needs a bigger pipeline to send it to market. The US is the first market for Canadian oil for a lot of reasons, mainly lower transportation costs. The US should be happy to buy oil from Canada because it is virtually as secure a supply as domestic US oil.

The oil is going to be produced, and it is going to be sold. If Obama approves Keystone it will be sold to the US. If not, it will be piped to the west coast and sold to Asia. The US will continue to buy oil from Venezuela, there's a secure supply.

In addition, Keystone will help to open domestic US supply because it will be routed through the Bakken fields in North Dakota.
