Lawless Obama Labor Department Signs Partnerships With Foreign Gov’s to Protect Illegals Here in US

These people are lawless. The Obama Labor Department signed partnerships with several Latin American nations to protect illegal aliens working here in the United States.

CNS News reported, via Lucianne:

U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis today signed “partnership” agreements with ambassadors from a group of Latin American nations aiming to protect what she described as the labor rights of both legal and illegal migrants working in the United States.

During the signing ceremony hosted at Labor Department headquarters in Washington D.C., Solis said the agreements are aimed at educating migrant workers, regardless of how they got here, about their rights under U.S. law and to help prevent them from being abused in the workplace, either through wages, loss of job, or deportation.

When asked by CNSNews.com, she made clear the agreements aim at protecting both documented and undocmented workers inside the United States.

In her address at the signing ceremony, Solis asserted that all migrant workers have a “right to a legal wage”–even though the Labor Department itself states that under U.S. law, the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), “employers may hire only persons who may legally work in the United States (i.e., citizens and nationals of the U.S.) and aliens authorized to work in the U.S.”

The INA “protects U.S. citizens and aliens authorized to accept employment in the U.S. from discrimination in hiring or discharge on the basis of national origin and citizenship status,” states the Labor Department Web site.

Nevertheless, during the signing ceremony today, Solis said, “No matter how you got here or how long you plan to stay, you have certain rights. You have the right to be safe and in a healthy workplace and the right to a legal wage. We gather here today to strengthen our shared commitment to protect the labor rights of migrant workers in the United States. Unfortunately, due to language barriers and immigration status, migrant workers can be those that are most vulnerably abused.”

Is this not in violation of the Constitution and does it not approach being a Treaty and must go before Congress?

Solis is inventing “rights” out of thin air. This is outside the law that authorizes her agency.

Nothing this traitor does surprises me! I can barely watch the news anymore - as every day it’s another nail in the coffin of our Constitution.

No, you don’t. Does the word “illegal” mean anything anymore? An illegal has NO rights whatsoever.

And our ve(n)al Congress critters sit by, bleating softly in their pens as they slurp cream and have their muscles kneaded by patient keepers.

No she isn’t inventing them out of thin air because they were invented for her. This is the culmination of 2 decades of work by Bush Clinton Bush, the US trade representatives office, the State Department and hundreds of NGOs and PPPs implementing UN mandates. They call them Secretariats, or the G8, they hold them offshore and these people make deals that steal our sovereignty and economy to be implemented later by traitorous corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

These people Solis is protecting are part of a larger ‘free movement of persons’ clause in the numerous ‘free trade’ agreements our corrupt government has made through UN subsidiary groups like the WTO the World Bank the Import Export Bank and various corrupt agencies of globalization.

Great summary of how our sovereignty has been over ridden by globalists.

This is why 125,000 new legal workers (guest workers and green cards) are brought into the US each month (1.5 million per year) with no regard to the current unemployment situation, and why no real effort is made to secure our borders or rid the country of the ~40 million illegals which infest it.

And that brings up a point that even our resident pretend free traders will not admit. True free markets and free trade cannot exist without the free movement of labor, i.e., open borders.

And many elites and globalist organization have been working toward that for years, of course without admitting what they are doing. Every time someone pipes up with their mindless, college econ support of free trade, they are assisting these people in opening our borders and eroding our sovereignty, whether they know it or not.

But I guess those who want open borders appreciate all the help they can get, no matter how uninformed the source the help might be.
