It’s early in the game, and if she jumps in all the better for our side, and if she doesn’t then Perry can sure use her to help him on his run for the White House. You diagnosed the whole situation in a nut shell. WE NEED A LEADER. Now. That is why getting in early and hitting hard was necessary. We need our potential nominee to emerge early in this cycle for all the obvious reasons. We may not make it to the election if we can’t pull up our power source soon. The in-fighting is not comforting and because of the urgency, we will soon be looking around in larger numbers toward who exactly is responsible for it.
You are correct, there is plenty of time for her to jump in the race. The reason it is so hotly debated is because she is very polarizing, and many here have staked everything on her.
To me, it is obvious that she is not running, for many reasons. But I have no inside information. She may decide to run, in which case I will support her. I’m closer to Bachmann ideologically, but Bachmann’s gaffes are giving me pause. I’m lukewarm on Perry. Don’t love him, but will support him.
