Gracious with a touch of sarcasm: so we can ensure there will be no parliamentary or logistical impediments that might detract from your remarks.

[ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse] In all my years of freeping, that is the weirdest reply I've ever had from someone. Your earlier posts implied that Boehner was being rude. I simply asked you if you thought he was rude. That's your answer? Strange.

Being reported now Obama has “graciously” accepted the invitation for the 8th. Look for them to move up to 7:00 to avoid the NFL Kick-off. I’d also anticipate Obama making sure everyone knows he was willing to compromise right before he trots out the same tired old stimulus ideas.

ahahah - thanks for the link to Carney - arrogant look, arrogant statement -
Carney gave NBC his permission to reschedule the Republican debate so it doesn't conflict with the president's speech, saying "if the network so chose and the candidates so chose" to reschedule, "that would be completely fine with us."
Yep - got the reschedule' part right - just not who's going to have to reschedule.
ahahahaha
I wonder if Reid will dare get into this. Boehner's letter was very professional and factual - even tho' we all know it was an 'in your face, Obozo' letter.
Masterful.

.What the haloed one can do, is what POTUSs can always do, make the speech from the Oval Office. But then he couldnt look left and right to see TOTUS.Americans are used to POTUSs of the past looking them in the eye when they speak from the Oval Office.Obama finds it impossible to do that. They are, however, giving him lessons and a new TOTUS that makes it possible for him to look at the camera - One of these days, TOTUS is going to malfunction and even idiots will see the naked emperor.

No way could he do it that early.

Here’s the real question, why the F would Republicans agree to debate on MSNBC? Will they have the ugly cow Maddow moderate?

Excellent, Mr. Speaker.
It's not a post-9/11 address. This whole thing is nakedly political.
Obama could speak any time on this issue. He's had weeks. Months. Years.

Love it, good for Speaker Boehner!!!! And in our house we will be watching football instead of arrogant dictator Obama.
Obama needs to learn how our governmenrt works. He is supposed to ask what day is a good day for Speaker Boehner's house, NOT the other way around.

7:00 PM EDT would be 4:00 PM on the west coast. He doesn't care. CA, OR, WA and HI electoral votes are a lock for him in 2012, no matter how badly he screws their inhabitants.

I had planned to listen to it too, cutting short my vacation in Aruba, until to my dismay, I remembered that it falls on the ten year anniversary of the death of my Clown Fish and I will be in mourning.

Hmmm. Sounds like maybe we screwed up....No one would have been watching.

lol...never heard it described as “fascinating” before! When I first signed up on FR, back in early 2001, I was a young ROTC cadet/National Guard Infantry Soldier who was obsessed with Special Forces and I was DEFINITELY going to do it. Now that I’m an old, spent combat veteran and married father of three, I’m pursuing more academic routes. I haven’t bothered changing my name mainly to keep my registration date and whatever seniority I probably don’t have.
