RUSH: Powell, Wyoming. Mike, thank you for calling, sir. Great to have you on the Rush Limbaugh program. Hello.
CALLER: Hey, black-and-gold dittos, Rush!
RUSH: Thank you, sir.
CALLER: I just wondered where George Stephanopoulos' sudden love of Mitt Romney last night on his program portrayed Perry as evil, and he loves Mitt Romney now; and you were saying with Rick Perry's first, you know, being on the panel for the debates, I just wonder, you know: Is this all coordinated, or are they laughing, or is it true coordination? Are they really gonna try and prop up Romney just because Rick Perry is scaring 'em so bad, or...? I just wanted to get your feelings on that.
RUSH: They're scared of Perry. They are scared to death of Perry. They're petrified of Perry. They'll always tell us who they fear. They're not worried about Romney. They think they can beat Romney. They also think that they can scare Romney into being a little bit more compliant and less combative with Obama. I don't think they think that about Perry. I think they are very much concerned about Perry, just as they are very much concerned about Sarah Palin. That's what they're telling us here. ....

She's not in the race now because she is holding off the frivolous campaign lawsuits like she had filed on her with McCain. Yes, the rats are that afraid of her, Jury duty, anything.
I can’t figure out WHY women despise Palin so much, but they do, and it doesn’t matter why - they still won’t vote for her.
Heck, it’s the birthers here on FR that I’m worried about...
I’ve lurked long enough to know this is indeed a conservative site. Surprised to see so many Perry fans here. I’ll take Cain/Bachmann/Santorum, thankyouverymuch.
Thanks for the welcome.
Islamic Group says Perry’s relationship with Muslims “sets him apart”

No she quits when it gets too tough.
He singled out as an example the Hawaii Senate Race, which Rasmussen showed the incumbent 13 points ahead, where he in actuality won by 53[28] - a difference of 40 points, or “the largest error ever recorded in a general election in FiveThirtyEights database, which includes all polls conducted since 1998.”[27]

Hey Grunthor, the foregoing snip was pulled out of a “critics” article on your boy Rasmussen. I think most folks on FR are growing weary of “Grunthor” quoting his polls and “data” every night while trying to convince us all that Sarah doesn’t have a chance. Give it a break please sir.
Check out post #5. Steel Wolf expands a bit on some of what you’ve pointed out.
You might be surprised, but Bush has higher approval ratings today than Obama. There is a certain nostalgia afoot in the land.
They better, the man is crazy, there's no telling who he'll shoot next with his mighty coyote gun!
Oh great, Bush 2.0. Just what we need. /s I’d vote, but I’d be shaking my head.
Ten out of ten Democrat pollsters agree ... Sarah Palin should not be the GOP nominee.
But what reason would Perry have to beat them soundly? I have seen nothing that tells me Perry will fight corruption.
As a politician, unless he’s a rare exception, his nature will be to embrace it.
You mean Palin’s not in politics for personal power, so that in a situation where the people of Alaska needed her to resign she did it without worrying about losing personal power?
Says a lot about Governor Palin.
Thanks for your comments.
And .. if we already know liberal women won’t support her .. WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT LIBERAL WOMEN WILL OR WON’T DO.
It seems to me you’re giving the liberals more credit than they’re due. And .. if the liberal women won’t vote for her, then she can’t possibly win.
Maybe you should check to see there are MORE conservatives in this country than there are liberals. In fact, that’s one of the fallacies the left likes everyone to believe - that they are the MAJORITY - they arent’. I realize you live in liberal country so the info you get may be slightly skewed - but really .. 58% of Americans claim to be conservative or leaning conservative - that was the last stat I remember seeing.
Of course, that doesn’t mean every female will vote for Palin .. so please don’t assume anything when it comes to this election. This election may be like no other before.
And .. please stop saying - SHE CAN’T WIN.
When I worked at a media outlet - I used to study demographics. What that tells you is that for every person who complains, depending upon their age and gender - they represent a certain amount of people. For instance - if you’re a white female 25 yrs old - and you call the radio station or TV station and make some kind of comment, your one voice represents maybe 1000 people (who also listen or watch that station) who have the same opinion (but they just don’t take the time to call).
The left wants you to believe that they represent ALL THE PEOPLE when they speak. Balderdash! They only represent a MINORITY OF THE PEOPLE.
If you get your demographics right .. you can predict a few things. To say Sarah can’t win is foolishness - because she’s not even a candidate yet (and people do poll differently with a candidate vs a person who’s thinking about running). Take a look at Perry’s numbers when he was “thinking about it” vs “when he jumped in”. I think even the media was not prepared for the jump in numbers.
You didn’t last long.
According to Todd she left for the $$$$$$$ deals.
Of course! I look at it this way - within the conservative camp, we need to be a bit rowdy with each other to shake down all of the potential nominees until we find one who makes the greatest number of us the least unhappy (I have no illusions about making all of the people happy), but what happens inside the conservative camp stays inside the conservative camp, and when we go out to face the enemy in the general election, we need to present a united front.
